Receive By Email

This is the easiest way to add Thimbles full contact details into your electronic address book. Enter your email address and click "Send Email". After you have received and opened the email, double click "ThimblesofLeeds.vcf" attachment to add to your address book. This works for all electronic address books including those listed below. (Except Hotmail - see instructions).

Apple iPhone and iPad

The Business Card Contact Details (vCard format) can be added to your address book by sending yourself an email with the vCard attached from the above link. Apple iPhone and iPad do not support direct download unless you have already installed an app for downloading .vcf files.


Download Business Card Contact Details

If the download link opens the file in your browser window, "right click" the link and select "Save targt as.." to download the vCard file.

Gmail

Download the Business Card (vCard format) from the above link on this page and save to your desktop. Now sign in to your Gmail account as normal. Click "Contacts" (located below your list of views) on any Gmail page. Click the "More" actions dropdown menu and select "Import. Click the "Choose File" button and locate the vCard file "ThimblesofLeeds.vcf" you downloaded to your desktop. Select the vCard file and click the "Import" button.

Yahoo! Mail

Download the Business Card (vCard format) from the above link on this page and save to your desktop. Log in to your Yahoo! Mail account as normal. Select the "contacts" page and click the "New Contact" button, followed by "Import Contacts" button. Next click the "Others" icon. A new browser window will open. Put a tick in "A desktop email program (Outlook, AppleMail, etc...)" tickbox. A "Browse" button will appear. Click this and locate the downloaded "ThimblesofLeeds.vcf" Now select "Continue" button and then the "Import" button. Finally click the "Skip Notification & Just Import >>" link. When the "Successfully completed!" message appears the browser window can be closed.

Blackberry Smart Phone

Download the Business Card (vCard format) from the above link on this page and save to your desktop. Connect your BlackBerry to your computer via the USB cable in mass storage mode. Copy the downloaded "ThimblesofLeeds.vcf" to your phones memory and note the location copied too. Disconnect the Blackberry Smart Phone from computer.

Alternately, download the Business Card (vCard format) from your Blackberry Smart Phone's web browser to your phones memory and note the download location.

Select "Media" then press the menu button and select "Explore". Browse to the location noted earlier and select the "ThimblesofLeeds.vcf" file. Once selected choose "Add to Contacts" then select "OK". You can now browse contacts to view Thimbles Contact details.

Microsoft Outlook

Download the above Business Card (vCard format) to your desktop. Double click the "ThimblesofLeeds.vcf" file. Outlook will open and display the files contents. From Outlook's "File" menu select save. The Business Card will now be added to your contacts.

Nokia, Samsung, HTC Smartphones

Download the Business Card (vCard format) from the above link on this page and save to your computer's desktop. Connect your Smartphone to your computer via USB cable in mass storage mode. Copy the downloaded "ThimblesofLeeds.vcf" to your phones memory noting the location the file is copied too. Disconnect the Phone from computer.

Using your Smartphone's file explorer browse to the "ThimblesofLeeds.vcf" file. Select the file and follow the Smartphone's on screen instructions.

Windows Live Hotmail

Windows Live Hotmail does not support the vCard format. Instead download this CSV file to your desktop. Log in to your Windows Live Hotmail account as normal. Select the "contacts" page and click the "Manage" dropdown box followed by "Import". Choose "Outlook" from the available options. Browse to the "ThimblesofLeeds.csv" file and then click the "Import Contacts" button.
